Taylor Support Services - providing Disability and Social Support in the East and South East of Melbourne

About Taylor Support Services

Taylor Support Services began in 2018 following the closure of a local Community Organisation that offered Disability programs.

These programs have been picked up by Taylor Support Services and expanded on. We are now growing in terms of services offered and geographical area covered. It is important to us that the quality of services is maintained during this growth phase.

Our Music program is open to people with disabilities and/or mental heath concerns to come together is an inclusive, accepting environment to experience the joy of music. Our resident musician and facilitator, Tom Tuena, is an amazingly talented individual who strives to bring out participants latent talents and ensures that every member of the group participates. This program currently runs on Wednesdays in Tecoma.

Other groups include a Cooking group on Tuesdays and an Art and Craft Group on Wednesdays.

Café Club is a social support program for older adults on Mondays. This group has a planned program of different cafes to visit each week. Our volunteer drivers take the minibuses out each week to enable people to come together in a social environment and get out and about.

Weekend Extend encompasses the weekend group day recreational activities and the full weekend camps at different locations. A program is developed and participants choose the activities they wish to go to.
